About
I'm just one guy looking to build his own Internet Empire, just like Paul Myers, Ewen Chia, Harvey Segal, and Chris Rempel.
They specialize in different Internet Marketing topics, but there is one thing they all have in common that I wish to share:
They do this for a living.
I don't.
YET!
My background is varied. I have a BA in Economics and an MBA in Technology Management. I spent the first decade of my professional life in the retail arena, then moved to tech. Lately, I've been in the Banking world. Yeah, great choice that was!
But there's one thing I've always enjoyed, and that's helping people succeed. I hope to do that here by showing you how to build your own little empire (or, better yet, your own MEGA EMPIRE) here on the old 'net.
I'll cover a lot of territory here, so please keep me grounded by asking questions, giving feedback, show me how to do something, and all that good stuff! I don't propose to know it all. And there's one thing about Internet Marketing (really, anything new) – it's easy to get bogged down in the details or lose focus by chasing the "next best thing."
Yours truly has certainly fallen down on both those topics! I'll try to expose you to a variety of material, but it's up to you to follow through.
Let's proceed to the methodology. I've tried to design the site here in a simple way:
Posts are ad hoc, this-is-what-I'm-thinking articles, usually on the short side, that give you topical and/or timely information. Sometimes the info is time-sensitive ("Buy now or miss out!").
Pages, on the other hand, are more formal, this-is-how-you-do-something types of articles. They tend to be on the longer side and give you "tried-and-true" information. Make sense?
